The Jugal Himal: The Nearest Wilderness, the Newest Frontier
The Jugal Mountain Range (Jugal Himal) is the closest Himalayan mountain range to the Kathmandu Valley, located to the northeast of the capital along the Nepal–Tibet border. Despite its proximity to Kathmandu, Jugal Himal remains one of Nepal’s least explored and most untouched mountain regions, offering a rare combination of high Himalayan wilderness, rich biodiversity, and authentic mountain culture.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
On a personal note I would like to say a massive thank you to you, Lakpa, Pharubu, Babu, the medical assistant and all the porters. You made my trip so much more than what I expected it to be. A special mention to Lakpa and his team of assistant guides who I had the pleasure of spending time with on a number of occasions and was in awe of their experience.
They were nice and very helpful. They also had a nice calm demeanour. The only comment was level of English wasn’t very good so it was hard to communicate directly with them. At the same time I felt our local team were very well connected and were organising a lot behind the scene
